Widlly underrated feature: The audio-only @Slack huddle.

Every company needs to start using this constantly and immedately. It literally solves all the problems:

  • Move an asynchronous conversation to synchronous instantly with a flip of a switch (or keyboard shortcut)

  • Audio by default = no need to worry about presenting yourself, sitting still, video lag - just get right to talking

  • No need to manage multiple apps strung together. I don’t care if Zoom calls can be quickly launched in Slack, there’s still friction here.

I need to start leaning more into this. Slack has some secret superpowers, y’all.
