We’ve been trialing a hard lean into focused asynchronous work at @Buffer.

This means I have zero arbitrary recurring meetings, time to focus deeply on something for more than the 20 minutes in between meetings, actually move things forward in my work before context switching if I need to, and have the choice to take breaks when I want. A bit of that “go slow to go fast” vibe.

We’re starting to build & improve things faster than we’ve ever done since I joined the company. Feeling unblocked. The feeling is electric, even if we’re not all in the same room. And we still make time to connect with each other as people.

I have to say it’s pretty great so far 😄
