This is arguably the bleakest song on RUINED CASTLE, and ily somehow turned into two different things, both exuding joy – (1/2)

1. a double-time, high-energy hyperpop blast, which then breaks down to
2. this gorgeous slow jam based on some intimate acoustic guitar and my vocal swinging around the mix.

We call it the “joy as resistance” mix. It’s truly lovely.
