kid lightbulbs LP2 + 3 are cute in retrospect. They’re good & I like them, but they were mainly exercises in revisiting past material to keep momentum going for this project – one that challenged me to get out of my shell a bit and finish some unfinished work I was previously unconfident in. 1/

Like a little time capsule out of time.

LP4 is the first full album’s worth of fully original recordings I’ve made since 2021 (even LP1 was a bit of a hodgepodge). It’s feeling like an entirely different beast altogether. Some of the lyrics go back a few years, but it’s all fresh and intensely 2/

relevant for how I feel in the current moment. It feels urgent yet a bit timeless. It’s harsh at times. It’s painfully gorgeous in others (if I say so myself). The highs soar higher and the lows trench lower.

It’s also nowhere near done 🤷‍♂️
