INFINITE NORMAL track 8: “nostalgia”

I started writing this song in maybe 2022, after my kid was born but before I decided to shave my head. I felt the wear of aging and the fleeting of the former more care-free life my wife & I had. Things were different now, and my body was starting to feel it.

The result was something lush but plodding: the richness of family life juxtaposed against the weakening of self.

There are a few obvious millennial references in here. These were fun to bring in, but intentionally muted in impact by the serene piano & intentionally monotone vocal.
