Last November I conceived, recorded & released an album of piano music in 3 days.

Normally I’d sit on it, try to build hype, prep a bunch of videos (which drains me), push hard on release day, and hope for the best.

Instead I just uploaded it to my self-hosted music site, told people about it, and moved on. No fees, no optimizing my release schedule for an algorithm.

Sometimes the lesson is: just ship the thing.
