Surprise: I covered @honeycrushing

Her song “fruit is year 3” was in my head for much of 2024. I wanted to give it a different treatment, honoring the tension of the original but leaning a bit more into its intensity, and Alex gave it her blessing. @patrickisbusy also chipped in with a gorgeous mix/master.

I’ve been tinkering with this for more than a year. Now it’s out on Bandcamp, in time for Bandcamp Friday tomorrow.
