In case you missed it – @Buffer now has a Public API. 😄

(To be clear: it’s in Public Beta, but still!)

There are a ton of ways you can use it! Here’s one thing I already built with it:

I built a daily automation in Apple Shortcuts to ping the API and pull a random post of mine from the past month to repurpose this week. I can then quickly “refresh” the post and queue it up from the shortcut itself. All from my phone.

Something I want to do but haven’t yet:

I want to share more of what I’m working on at Buffer. So I have an idea to take project/initiative updates I write in Linear each week, automatically draft a public-facing summary of those updates as a social post, tweak as needed and feed them to the social channels where I talk about Buffer (here, Threads, Bluesky).

This is going to be fun.
