I came across this weird little app called Vibe Island, and it’s kind of amazing:

It sits in the “dynamic island” of your MacBook Pro and surfaces all the updates across your AI agents. It will pop anytime any AI coding agent has an update or prompts you to approve an action. It’s totally customizable in a number of ways, where it can be either very detailed and invasive, or more subtle.

Plus it’s got all this really cute, weird design decisions and sound effects – the onboarding demo takes up your entire screen and feels like a weird 80s movie trailer almost.

I absolutely love this. I want to give them my money (and probably will later today)!

The takeaway for me is that PRODUCTS CAN STILL BE FUN. And fun products are necessary if we want life to remain worth living. You don’t need to settle for the boilerplate stuff your AI agent comes up with initially, or succumb the typical expectations of “enterprise solutions”. Be creative! Have fun! People take notice.
