I’m so tired of the ai music discourse but the one hill I will die on is simply that it seems the vast majority of people trying to defend ai music seem to either (1) not have interesting music taste & simply want to make things that sound like what they know without learning how, or are (2) desperately trying to be/stay culturally relevant and it’s not about the music at all
